Beekeepers Secret - The Bee Resin (Propolis) is a nutritious, powerful antibiotic, antiviral, and antifungal agent that sanitizes the interior of the hive and has been used by humans throughout millennia for its natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities. The word propolis is derived from Greek, in which pro stands for “for/or in defense” and polis for “city,” which means this natural product is used in defense of the hive (1 Ghisalberti, 1979).
